Ash Wednesday through the eyes of one 4 year old

Since today was Ash Wednesday, some of the classes at the CDC walked over to the church and attended Liturgy of the Word and received ashes. I only had 6 or 7 kids with me and I felt that for their 4 year old attention spans they did a good job of paying attention and listening. However, when one mom was picking up her child at the end of the day I found out their true feelings about our special day: Mom "Did you go to church and get ashes today?" "Yes" "Did you like it?" boy whispering "It was boring!"
